New Pattern and Syllabus of Staff Selection Commission Graduate Level Exam

Staff Selection Commission has decided to change in pattern and syllabus of SSC Graduate level examination. The new pattern and syllabus will be followed from 2010.
The subjective question from main examination of SSC Graduate level has been removed. Only objective questions will be asked in main examination. SSC will conduct Graduate level combined exam for 16 posts from this year. Earlier SSC has taken 7 different exam for 16 different posts. Staff Selection Commission will conduct Graduate Level Combined Exam for following posts -
(1) Assistant Central Excise
(2) Income Tax Inspector
(3) Preventive Officer
(4) Sub Inspector of CBI
(5) Division Accountant
(6) Auditor
(7) Upper Divisional Clerk (UDC)
(8) Inspector (Examinor)
(9) Assistant Inforcement Officer
(10 Section Officer (Audit)
(11) Accountant
(12) Tax Assistant
(13) Sub Inspector in Central Police Organisation (CPO)
(14) Section Officer ( Commercial Audit)
(15) Statistics Investigator Grade II and III
(16) Compiler

The preliminary test (PT) will be common for all above posts. This exam will have 200 marks. There will 50 marks for General Intelligence and Reasoning test, 50 marks for General Awareness, 50 marks for Numerical Aptitude , 50 marks for English Language in above PT exam. Only qualified student in PT (1st Tire) exam will be eligible for 2nd round (2nd Tire) exam. Only objective questions will be asked in 2nd tire exam. There will be three type of question in 2nd tire exam. First paper will for Mathematics Abilities. The second paper will be for English Language. And the third paper will be mix questions from Economics, Statistics and Commerce. English paper will be compulsory for all posts. The English question paper will have 100 question and 200 marks. Each question paper will be for 2 hrs. Mathematics Abilities question paper will not for Sub Inspector post in CPO. Mathematics Abilities question paper in 2tire exam will have 200 question for 200 marks. Third question paper will have 100 questions for 200 marks. All questions in 2 tire exam will be objective type.
